Legal firm recognised for high standards by Institute of Professional Willwriters

Lincoln will and estate planning service provider Beneficial Trust & Will Co Ltd has become a fully accredited member of the Institute of Professional Willwriters (IPW).

Founded in 1991, the IPW is a self-regulatory body to safeguard the public from unqualified practitioners and unethical business practices.

All IPW member organisations are mandated to comply with the IPW Code of Practice which is approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute under it’s Consumer Codes Approval Scheme.

The new membership means that Beneficial Trust & Will Co Ltd are now one of only a few firms in the UK operating dual membership of both IPW and Society of Will Writers as well as having a legal team approved by the Solicitors Regulatory Authority.

Amy Peters, Director of Operations for Beneficial Trust & Will Co Ltd, said: “Clients can obtain Estate Planning and Will Writing services in a number of ways but compliance with a rigorous code of conduct such as that of the IPW and the Chartered Trading Standards Institute provides assurance that clients legal rights are clearly outlined and upheld.

“Unfortunately, we have seen less scrupulous traders attempt to enter this profession and it is our intention to be able to provide a clear route for clients to access services that are delivered to the highest professional standards.

“We are absolutely thrilled to have successfully completed the IPW compliance process and hope this goes to further display our commitment to the delivery of the highest customer service standards.”
