Ringrose Law appoints new head of domestic abuse team

Lincolnshire solicitors Ringrose Law appointed Nichola Skayman as the new Head of the Domestic Abuse Team.

Nichola will help clients by providing legal assistance, support and help with rebuilding their life after they are victims of abuse.

She has been helping victims of domestic abuse for over 17 years and has worked on some very high profile and complex cases across the county and at the High Court in London.

Nichola has established relationships with local authorities across the region and other support agencies including Women’s Aid, locally funded outreach support teams, Children’s Links and local police.

“Our main role is to provide legal advice and protection for our clients,” Nichola said. “But we also work with clients by helping with them restarting their new life and providing them with all the guidance and support that they require.

“We can assist our clients by applying to the court on their behalf for Non-Molestation Orders/ Occupation Orders against their partners/ former partners.” 

If necessary Nichola and her team can provide immediate protection for children, and also deal with care cases which is another specialist area which Nichola deals with.
