A new Domino’s Pizza will open in Cleethorpes this summer, creating 25 jobs for the local area.

The planning application has been approved by North East Lincolnshire Council with nine votes to two in favour of the development on St Peter’s Avenue.

The American company first opened a store in the UK in Luton in 1985 and sells over 85 million pizzas each year.

Abbey Everett, spokesperson for Domino’s Pizza Group, said: “Domino’s is always looking for great new locations for our stores, and we’re really excited to have found such good premises right in the heart of Cleethorpes community.

“We hope to open our doors to the people of Cleethorpes in summer, and will be looking to recruit from within the area, with 25 new jobs available for pizza-passionate locals.”
