Lincolnshire Business Expo officially open

This story is over

More than 1,200 people are expected to attend the second Lincolnshire Business Expo at the Lincolnshire Showground today.

With more than 800 delegates, 300 business representatives, 90 exhibitors and 35 speakers across 25 events, Lincolnshire Business Expo is returning as the biggest B2B event in the region.

Doors open at 8.30am and the event closes at 4pm.

Dean Graham, Co-founder of Lincolnshire Business and organiser of the event, said: “With an unprecedented number of pre-registered attendees and a complete sell out of exhibition stands, the 2nd annual Lincolnshire Business Expo is an event not to be missed.

“With no need to register in advance, just turn up and see the showcase of what 90 local businesses have to offer.

“The main aim of the Expo is to improve relations, communication and awareness between businesses in the county, to ensure that local suppliers are able to shout about what they can do.”

Events you can still attend

Most on the day’s events are sold out, but there will still be a limited number of spaces on some events, including Cyber Essentials and The Defence Cyber Protection Partnership: Raising The Bar, which will look at how businesses can best protect themselves from a cyber attack, something that has become increasingly common over recent years.

The Bank of England’s East Midlands Agent Alastair Cunningham will also be presenting an exclusive briefing regarding the bank’s economic forecast for the year ahead in Weathering The Storm: Bank of England Economic Forecast for 2017.

For attendees looking to start their own business but looking for finance options, Rebecca Brennan, Key Account Manager for Curtis Banks Ltd. will be explaining how funds held in their pension can help in her talk Who Said Pensions Were Boring? Making Commercial Property The Ultimate Investment.

However, for those who have already established their business and are looking to help it grow, Russell Copley, Director of Greenborough Management will be examining options for funding, business plans and funding plans in The Guide to Funding Business Growth.
