Made in Lincolnshire awards to return for second year

The Made in Lincolnshire Awards are set to return for a second year, with nominations opening on February 2.

Greater Lincolnshire’s manufacturing sector is estimated to contribute £3.4 billion a year to the local economy and plays a significant part in the future economic growth of the region.

Hosted by Streets Chartered Accountants, NatWest and Business Lincolnshire, the awards celebrate the county’s excellence in manufacturing and its reputation for innovation within the sector.

The awards also aim to showcase the diversity and creativity of those manufacturing in Lincolnshire.

Nominations will open from Thursday, February 2 with a drinks reception at the DoubleTree by Hilton Lincoln.

The launch will include an introduction to the awards, the entry process and a presentation from Charlotte Horobin, Interim Director Midlands and East for EEF, the manufacturers’ organisation, who will talk about the role and importance of manufacturing across the region.

The deadline for nominations is Friday, April 14, 2017.
