Plans for nine new business units in Lincoln, which could create more than 20 new jobs, have been approved by City of Lincoln Council.

As previously reported, Taylor Lindsey submitted plans for the new site, which will be built on vacant land off Sadler Road, Lincoln Business Park, adjacent to Lincoln Gymnastics Club.

Four of the new units would be 750 sq ft each, whilst the other five would consist of 1,500 sq ft.

The site will also provide parking for up to 20 cars including two disabled spaces, nine cycle spaces and nine light goods vehicles/public carrier vehicles.

Dan Race, Development Director for Taylor Lindsey said: “We are pleased to have secured planning permission for this development.

“We have designed the scheme to provide units of 750 and 1,500 sq ft to sit in between the many 1,000 and 2,000 sq ft units that have traditionally been built in Lincoln.

“This will provide more flexibility in the market place.

“We are currently seeing strong demand in the commercial sector across our various development sites and we are currently working up our 2017 build programme.”
