Work is due to start on Lincoln’s first giant trampoline park next month with a view to opening in July, following a £1.2 million investment.
Jump Inc will open in the former DPD depot on Dixon Close off Tritton Road, with over 150 interconnected trampolines in a 28,000 sq ft area, creating around 55 jobs.
Once open, the site will also include two airbags, slam dunk nets and super trampolines as well as offer trampoline, fitness and wall running classes.
The park will also include a cafe, viewing gallery and six party rooms with its own dedicated parking.
Chris Hayes, managing director of Jump Inc., said: “We are adding a ninja run into the park to keep things fresh as well as a performance zone, where we will have olympic standard trampolines, sourced from America, which will allow people to learn proper trampolining.
“We expect to get about 4,000 visitors in one week.
“It’s been phenomenal the growth of the business from 18 months ago when we first opened our first park in Rotherham and now Lincoln will be our fourth park.
“We have a free running area, basketball slam dunk lane, ninja warrior course, jump tower, climbing wall and a half pipe.
“There will be lots going on for people to explore not just trampolines.”
