Boston-based The Coaching Inn Group has been named Best Accommodation Operator and Best Pub Employer at The Publican Awards 2017.

The awards, which were held at Battersea Evolution in London on March 14, is the largest industry awards event, which recognises excellence in the pub company sector across the UK.

Previously the group has also been listed in Grant Thornton’s top 10 East Midlands’ fastest growing businesses and was named one of ten UK companies to watch in The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100.

The Coaching Inn Group built a strong reputation in the industry for transforming underperforming historic coaching inns and turning them into busy and profitable establishments.

The group currently has 13 properties across 10 counties, including The White Hart in Boston and The Admiral Rodney in Horncastle. It also has plans for a £50 million expansion programme to increase the portfolio to 25.

The Coaching Inn Group CEO, Kevin Charity, said: “We operate in an incredibly competitive arena, so we’re absolutely delighted to win not one but two awards.

“The accolades are a real reflection of the work we’ve been doing in recent years in investing in our teams, as well as restoring our coaching inns to their former glory.

“This recognition couldn’t have been achieved without the unparalleled hard-work and dedication to service excellence from our teams.”
