There are just two weeks left to enter the Lincolnshire Digital and Tech awards, which will be held at the Lincolnshire Showground on May 18.

Organised by Lincolnshire Business, this year’s categories have been revamped to extend to and celebrate businesses in the technology industries as well as the digital ones.

The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, April 19. Apply now here.

The 12 categories are:

  • Best Online Retailer of the Year
  • Innovation in Tech
  • Product of the Year
  • Technology in Education
  • Rising Star
  • Global Ambitions
  • Entrepreneur of the Year
  • Best use of Multimedia
  • Digital Marketing Campaign of the Year
  • Startup of the Year (less than three years trading)
  • Small Business of the Year (£0 – £2 million)
  • Business of the Year (£2 million +)

  • Ron Lynch, Regional Director for the IoD East Midlands
  • Nicola Radford, Commissioning Officer for Lincolnshire County Council
  • Dave Ashby, Senior Relationship Manager and Tech Sector Specialist for NatWest
  • Richard Hill, CEO and Founder of SEO Traffic Lab
  • Peter Cooper, CEO and Founder of Cooper Press
  • Russell Copley, Managing Director of Greenborough Management
  • Ian Green, Relationship Manager for HSBC
  • Matt Russell, CEO and founder of Jolt
  • Karl Blakesley, Marketing Manager at Orderwise

Businesses shortlisted for the awards will be announced at the beginning of May.

The awards celebrations will feature a two-course sharing menu focusing on Lincolnshire produce as well as local entertainment throughout the night.

Last year saw more than 250 people came to the Engine Shed in Lincoln to celebrate what the county has to offer and winners included companies such as OrderWise, Laser Red, Frunbu and Funky3DFaces.

Events Director Dean Graham said: “We’ve received a lot of great feedback on the improved award categories for this year and we have already had some excellent entries that really show how our tech industries in Lincolnshire are flourishing.

“With just two weeks left to the final deadline I’d like to encourage every business to take a look to see what they might deserve recognition for and get their application in.”
