During his visit, the cabinet minister commended the organisation’s commitment to taking on apprentices as well as provided insight into steps businesses can take to prepare for Brexit.

Turbine Efficiency Group offers a range of small industrial gas turbine equipment solutions for the power, oil and gas and industrial markets.

The company has around 72 employees and also offers apprenticeships.

Damian Green said: “I’m visiting this company and other companies in Lincolnshire, looking at some of the great businesses we have here.

“In places like Lincolnshire, we can show that there is a great future for people in manufacturing as well as some of the other industries that are traditional and strong here.”

The Work and Pensions Secretary, who has been MP for Ashford in Kent since 1997, also visited Lincolnshire-based Cable Telecommunications Training Services (CTTS), Europe’s largest independent training provider in communications cabling and telecommunications technology.
