Lindum Construction has appointed Andy Barradell as its new director.

With a background in house building, Andy joined Lindum in 2000 as a scheduler in, what was then, the estimating and buying team.

In 2004 he moved to the role of design co-ordinator within the construction division where he has remained and is now Lindum’s affordable housing manager and manages the design co-ordinator team with responsibility for leading the implementation of modern methods of construction and renewable technology across the group.

Andy’s directorship was approved at the recent group executive board meeting.

Lindum Group Chairman, David Chambers, said: “Andy’s appointment as director is in recognition of the contribution, dedication and ability he has shown throughout the 17 years he has been a part of the Lindum team and for the responsibility he now has.”

Andy said: “The experience, training and support I have received during my time here has been incredible, learning from the best in the business and being part of an outstanding team of people has meant I have not wanted to leave.”

Simon Gregory, Managing Director for Lindum Construction, added: “Andy is a highly regarded member of the management team.

“His expertise and experience proves invaluable in the contribution we are able to make to clients’ projects offering value added and design improvement suggestions ensuring maximum benefit to the client.”
