Peter Williams, formerly head of office at Cambridge, has joined the team at Lincoln-based Lambert Smith Hampton as operations director, having held senior positions with the company since 1988.

Since joining Lambert Smith Hampton, Peter has headed offices in Peterborough, Milton Keynes and Cambridge.

In Lincoln, Peter will support the team as it develops the firm’s brand following the consultancy’s acquisition of Hodgson Elkington last year.

Sam Elkington, the former head of the Lincoln office, will work alongside Peter, and maintains his focus on development and investment clients.

Other members of the senior management team, Tim Shaw, Marie Gutteridge, Arthur Hartshorne, will continue to front the property management, lease advisory and valuation departments.

Peter said: “I am fortunate to be working with senior colleagues who are extremely well known and respected in their regional markets, together with some great young talent who will come through over the next few years.

“We intend to build on national and regional relationships to grow the business, working collaboratively with other LSH offices and service lines. We anticipate this being a compelling proposition for existing and new clients alike.”

Adam Ramshaw, Lambert Smith Hampton regional director, said: “We’re delighted that Peter has as agreed to head up our Lincoln office. His vast experience of the sector and unparalleled knowledge of LSH makes him the ideal candidate to lead operations at this stage in the office’s growth.”
