This story is over

Lincoln social media agency Chatty Imp is rebranding to reflect its new identity after acquiring two other local businesses.

Chatty Imp was started in 2015 by University of Lincoln marketing graduates Peter Watson and Bradley McKenny.

Since, the business acquired search advertising specialists Reverse and web development agency Bottle9.

The three agencies will now merge from November 1st under the Distract branding, boasting now 10 staff.

The average staff age in Distract is only 23-years-old. Their offices are at Think Tank in Lincoln.

Distract now aims to work more directly with large national brands, whilst also maintaining the current local clients.

Among the current roster of clients, Distract works with one of the largest charities in Europe after winning a pitch against large London agencies.

Peter Watson, Managing Director of Distract, said: “This merge and rebrand helps move us in the direction we are all working towards. We have a team of ambitious 23-year-olds who love what they do. We want to all be part of an agency that started in Lincoln, that competes on the national stage.”

Bradley McKenny, Operations Director of Distract, added: “We have brilliant talent across different digital marketing specialisms within our three agencies, and it is very exciting that we are able to merge these together. This rebrand unites us, and allows us to move forward under a single, unified brand which represents and recognises all of this talent.”
