A Midlands PR and marketing agency has opened an office in Lincoln.

Lincoln is the Cartwright Communications’s second site, with its head office located in Nottingham city centre.

Cartwright currently employs 23 people and has plans to recruit further in Lincoln.

The company, founded by Lincolnshire-born Liz Cartwright in 2006, is now into its 11th year of business and offers a range of services to clients, including PR, marketing, digital services and crisis management.

Cartwright works across a range of sectors including property and construction, financial and professional services, food and drink, agriculture, travel and logistics.

The Lincoln office, at The Lawn on Union Road, will be a permanent base for several members of the Cartwright team and there will be further recruitment over the coming months.

Managing director Liz Cartwright said: “This is a brilliant location for us as we do a lot of work for clients in this part of the country, and further afield.

“Lincoln is a city which is seeing huge growth and inward investment. Not only are we committing to the city as the site of our second office, but we will be sponsoring the GLLEP at MIPIM for the second time next year.”

Nick Peel of Stokes said: “We are thrilled that Liz and the team have moved into The Lawn complex.

“We have been using Cartwright Communications for our PR and marketing for many years and this move helps to cement an already strong relationship.”

Peter Banks of Banks Long & Co did the deal. Peter said: “It is good to see another expanding company moving into Lincoln and moving into The Lawn.

“It is especially gratifying to welcome Liz and Cartwright, as she is a local person who is moving back into the city with her team.”
