Grantham window firm acquired by leading figure in timber and joinery industry

The New Window Company, a supplier and installer of contemporary and period windows and doors, has been acquired by Roy Wakeman OBE for an undisclosed sum.

Roy is a leading figure and driving force in the timber and joinery industry.

Currently Non-executive Chairman of Performance Timber Products Group Limited (PTP), Roy has been appointed as President of the BWF (British Woodworking Federation) three times in his career (1987, 2001, 2013), and has received numerous other industry awards and accreditations.

The New Window Company, which operates out of historic offices and large showroom facilities in Caythorpe, Grantham, was acquired in a BIMBO led by Roy Wakeman OBE.

Since being formed in 1995 by Darren and Tracey Elmes, The New Window Company has grown into the leading provider of windows and doors in the East Midlands with installations in Lincolnshire, Rutland, Nottinghamshire, and Leicestershire.

The products offered suit contempory, traditional and historic buildings and all carry extensive warranties and performance certification.

All materials can be specified and the company will now be the appointed installer and distributor for Timberwindows.com and Evolution uPVC products in the immediate area.
