New senior member appointed at Branston to support company growth

Branston, one of the UK’s largest potato suppliers, has appointed a new head of category to further support the company’s growth.

Penny Francis, who will be based at the company’s Lincoln site, joins Branston from national food producer 2 Sisters, where she worked as a senior category manager working with brands including Aldi and Marks and Spencer.

Penny said: “Branston has an excellent reputation in the industry and it looked like a fantastic place to work.

“What really attracted me to the company is that it is completely aligned with its business partners whilst always ensuring that consumers come first in the overall business strategy.
