Visual Print & Design is set to increase its workforce and annual turnover with the purchase of new machinery, costing more than £45,000, as part of its overall investment plans.

Plans will see the firm invest in the region of £250,000 in total over the next six months.

The company has now installed a Xerox Versant 180 digital press to increase capacity and productivity.

It is suitable for a wide range of media types, including:

  • Leaflets
  • Booklets
  • Business cards
  • Labels
  • Posters

It was installed at its Lincoln premises to upgrade and work alongside the existing Xerox C770.

It will be used to increase turnover by £100,000 in 2017/2018, whilst contributing to the Lincoln community by creating two new jobs in the next year.

Managing Director of Visual Print & Design Graham Hunstone said: “The investment also allows us to take advantage of the quicker speed and extra quality the press offers.

“We have seen an increase in demand for digital print, so we felt it was necessary to upgrade our equipment to allow us to keep providing the high speed and quality to our clients.

“We want to continue to offer our clients a quick turnaround across all print orders and having this top of the range print machine in house will enable us to continue to do just that.”
