Coffee lovers will soon be able to order their favourite drink on the go when Starbucks launches its first Lincoln drive-thru.

The coffee franchise announced on its Lincoln Facebook page that it would be opening its drive-thru at Roman Gate off Nettleham Road in February.

Plans for the new coffee shop were submitted last year. The drive-thru is located adjacent to Fit4Less gym.

The coffee giant will be occupying half acre site as a part of Roman Gate district centre, creating eight full-time and 12 part-time jobs.

This is a first ever coffee drive-thru in Lincolnshire. Developers are hoping that this will benefit the uphill areas of Lincoln and neighbouring villages.

Dan Race, development director with Taylor Lindsey, said previously:“Starbucks is an ideal occupier for our Roman Gate ‘district centre’ development and will be a very positive addition to the scheme.

“This will be Lincoln’s first drive-thru coffee shop and shows the confidence that major national occupiers are now showing in Lincoln as a trading location.”
