Lincolnshire’s first Go Ape assault course officially opens

Go Ape has officially opened at Normanby Hall Country Park.

The adventure park was officially opened by Leader of North Lincolnshire Council, Councillor Rob Waltham on Friday, March 23 and includes a new of obstacle courses in the sky.

Go Ape at Normanby Hall, which opened to the public on March 24, has a ‘Tree Top Adventure’ and three loop ‘Tree Top Juniors’.

Activities at the park include:

  • Amazon Bridge
  • Grandpa’s crossing
  • Tibetan bridge
  • Tarzan Swing
  • Five zip lines

Those taking on the Tree Top Adventure course have the choice of 29 crossings and will brave the highest point of 7.22 metres.

For the younger adventurers, they have the choice of 17 crossings on the Tree Top Junior course, which goes up to 5.25 metres (highest point).

Go Ape at Normanby Hall Country Park has created around 30 jobs.
