Calum Hanrahan, a specialist immigration solicitor has joined law firm Wilkin Chapman.
Following his undergraduate law degree, Calum obtained a masters’ degree in sports law, with the ambition to go into sports agency work.
However, after a spell in the retail environment, he settled on general law and began his career as a paralegal, before taking the CILEx route into the profession.
The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, (CILEx) operates a training programme for professionals who are at various stages in their legal careers.
After developing his interest in specialist immigration work, Calum is looking forward to a busy time – with Brexit just a year away and a growing number of clients looking at the challenges and opportunities involving immigration.
Calum said: “As my career has progressed, I have developed a real passion for this area of legal work.
“As I am settled in the county, I am delighted to have the opportunity to specialise, especially in Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire.”
