The countdown is finally over for chocolate lovers across the county as Lincolnshire’s first Hotel Chocolat has opened.

Hotel Chocolat, which first launched in London in 2004, has now opened in the former Ernest Jones shop next to H Samual on Lincoln High Street.

Hotel Chocolat currently has 93 shops as well as a number of cafés and restaurants around the world.

Some 10 new jobs have been created in the area as part of the opening.

Samantha Wright, Acting District Manager at Hotel Chocolat told CityX: “We are very excited about being in Lincoln.

“We’ve got a range of chocolates to suit all dietary requirements and we have some samples that you can come in and try.

“We have a taste of the month, so this month we’ve got a billionaire’s shortbread chocolate for people to come in and try.”
