Lincolnshire House of Fraser stores to close early 2019

Retail brand House of Fraser has confirmed it will close all of its stores in Lincolnshire next year as part of its rescue plans.

The department store chain will to close 31 of its 59 shops in early 2019, including those on Lincoln High Street and in Freshney Place Shopping Centre, Grimsby.

These closures have now officially been approved by creditors and will affect around 6,000 jobs across the country.

All Lincolnshire stores are set to close, with the closest House of Fraser stores being in Nottingham and Sheffield.
