Emma Van-der-Sluis, Paralegal at Ringrose Law has been appointed Chair of the Lincolnshire branch of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx).

The aim of the Lincolnshire CILEx branch is to support legal professionals in the local area, by organising social events, fundraising for charity, revision sessions and support with ongoing exams and training along with professional seminars, networking and continuing professional development events.

The branch officially launched on Friday, April 20, and held a launch event, attended by Millicent Grant, the President of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, and the branch has already been shortlisted in the top 5 branches in the country at the National CILEx Awards.

Emma said: “We are a really good team of like-minded individuals across the County, all keen to learn from one another and share ideas and best practice. We also try to bring a bit of fun into law, with arranging charity events and social events.

“I am thrilled to be leading this team and hope to continue to build on the strong foundation we already have in place.

“Since our official launch in April we have welcomed many new members to the branch and would encourage all legal professionals to join the branch and get involved!”
