Lincoln professionals announced as finalists for Great British Entrepreneur Awards

Professionals from three Lincoln businesses have been named as finalists in the Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2018.

Entrepreneurs from Vision Drive, Greenborough Management Ltd and Beauty BLVD have been recognised for their entrepreneurial efforts.

Rachel de Caux & Paula Short, founders of Beauty BLVD, which appeared on Dragon’s Den with its product – Glitter Lips, have been named as the finalist for the Start-up Entrepreneur of the Year award.

Jack Davies and Ian Smith of Vision Drive

Ian Smith & Jack Davies, who founded Vision Drive, have been named as finalists for the Service Industries Entrepreneur of the Year award, while Russell Copley, Managing Director at  Greenborough Management Ltd, has been named as a finalist for the Entrepreneurs’ Champion of the Year award.

Ian Smith, from Vision Drive told CityX: “For us it shows that the team’s hard work, our commitment to innovate our industry and the relentless drive to achieve more is being recognised.

“We are completely shocked and so proud to have been shortlisted in such a large standing awards!”

Russell Copley added: “I’m absolutely delighted and very surprised!”

Rachel De Caux said: “We’re thrilled to have been shortlisted in the ‘start up entrepreneurs’ category.

“I really hope we can go on to win this for our team- their passion and support have been inspiring and a huge contributing factor to the continued success of Beauty Blvd!”

A spokesperson for the awards said: “This year, we’ve been overwhelmed with the quality and quantity of entries submitted.
