An appeal for information has been requested after two trailers were stolen from Bransby Horses.
At around 7pm on Sunday, October 14, two of the charity’s Ifor Williams HB610 trailers (one green and one blue) were stolen from the site.
The blue trailer has since been located however, the charity is now appealing for information on the whereabouts of the green trailer and any information regarding the theft of both.
Head of External Welfare, Ryan Rouse, said: “Any break-in understandably leaves a tainted emotion, but to have such vital equipment stolen is devastating.
“The knock-on effect means that in the short term at least, we are unable to fully complete the charity’s core value of rescue.
“The blue trailer has been altered with a winch so that collapsed horses could be moved quickly and safely when man power alone simply isn’t enough.
“We are so fortunate to have had this trailer as a direct result of our supporter’s kind generosity.
“I really hope that we are able to move forward quickly from this sad event and get back to normal.”
Anyone with any information regarding the incident should report to Lincolnshire Police quoting incident number 384 of October 14.
