Lincoln’s ground-breaking treatment to help women suffering from incontinence

Aesthetic treatment centre Body Lipo Lincoln has installed the UK’s second EMSella chair, a revolutionary new procedure which treats urinary incontinence with a 95% success rate.

The chair, designed in the USA and distributed in the UK by medical manufacturers BTL Aesthetics, treats stress urinary incontinence, which affects 30-40% of post-partum and menopausal women in the UK.

It uses electromagnetic energy to stimulate and restore the pelvic floor muscle without the need for invasive surgery.

The clinic, located in Lincoln city centre, was set up by aesthetics specialist Louise White.

The team offers non-invasive treatments using the world’s most up to date technology, including the successful fat melting procedure 3D Lipo favoured by international celebrities and skin tightening and rejuvenation treatments.

The treatment involves six half hour sessions ideally every three days, costs £1,500 and research shows that 95% of patients experienced improved quality of life, with nearly 75% of patients experiencing significantly decreased urinary leakage or achieving total dryness.

Louise White, owner of Body Lipo Lincoln, said: “We’re incredibly excited to have installed the EMSella chair, which offers a discrete and non-invasive solution to a very common problem.

“Many women just suffer in silence because of the terrible stigma it carries, so this simple treatment is revolutionary and can transform somebody’s life in a very positive way.

“The EMSella chair sends 11,000 electromagnetic pulses to the pelvic floor muscle in each 30 minute session, exercising and toning the muscle beyond what can be achieved naturally.

“Many of our clients who have just started the treatment, have already reduced their use of sanitary pads, which is fantastic to hear.”
