Discount store Savers says it is still looking for a ‘suitable’ location in Lincoln after closing its previous store in July last year.
This comes after Savers received planning approval for new store signage at the former Topman at St Benedict Square in July, however this fell through.
The value home and cosmetics shop was previously based on Sincil Street, however closed down in July 2017, with the store unable to find another location.
Corina Grajdeanu, on behalf of Savers told CityX: “At present we are seeking to identify a suitable location within Lincoln and our property department is working hard to ensure we bring back Savers to the local area, as we understand our customers are missing us and we do not wish to cause any further disappointment.
“We apologise for this unfortunate delay, however hope that we will be able to share some positive news about this store in due course.”
