Kalas Packaging invests £1.5m in new personalised packaging service

A new personalised packaging service has been launched by Kalas Packaging, the Boston-based specialist packaging supplier – just in time for Christmas.

The company, based on Haven Business Park has invested £1.5 million in new state-of-the-art equipment to enable it to launch a new service: Vanilla Reindeer – providing unique gifts this festive season.

Vanilla Reindeer is a one-stop web-to-print brand, specialising in fully personalised products using the latest in digital print technology.

Established 30 years ago, Kalas Packaging already provides specialist printing services across a number of sectors including food and horticulture – supplying blue-chip retailers with niche products.

The new brand has been 12 months in the planning.

In order to fulfil the demand of this new launch, Kalas Packaging invested in a digital press from leading information technology company, HP Indigo.

Vanilla Reindeer offers a range of products all which can be fully personalised and has kicked of its Christmas collection with a range of chocolate advent calendars which can be personalised ready for the festive countdown.

Gifts also include luxury chocolates, wines and spirits with personalised packaging and messages.

Vanilla Reindeer is the brain child of Kalas directors Jonathan Padley and Matthew Evans.

“We wanted to offer a wide range of personalised products that combines contemporary design flair with the very latest in high tech digital print technology.

“We’ve worked hard to create a choice of colourful, appealing designs that will make any gifting occasion extra special – all you need to do is upload your images and messages on our easy-to-use interface and you can leave the rest to us.
