Tickets are now on sale for Lincoln’s newest festive spectacular.
Running from December 15-22, the Lincoln Castle Christmas Emporium will help kick-off yuletide celebrations in the city.
A spectacular Victorian-inspired light show will form the centrepiece of this new Christmas experience, complemented by stalls offering unique arts, crafts, gifts and locally-sourced food and drink, including a tipi bar.
Tickets for the Christmas Emporium cost £7.50 for adults, £6.50 for concessions and £5 for children. Family tickets are available for £20, while annual pass holders can get in free.
Each ticket holder can visit the event as many times as they like over the eight days.
Castle manager Kimberley Vickers said: “What better place to celebrate the magic of Christmas with your family and friends than historic Lincoln Castle?
“The breath-taking light show will be repeated throughout the evening, and Santa himself will be here and is looking forward to hearing your Christmas wishes.
“You can also enjoy the spectacular evening views from our Medieval Wall Walk, along with great food and drink and Christmas cheer.
“It’s the perfect festive treat for all the family. Don’t miss out!”
Private parties can also be catered for in the castle’s Langton’s Café and Victorian Prison, where hand-crafted canapes and drinks will be served throughout the evening with entertainment provided by Alice’s Night Circus. Contact [email protected] for further details.
