A new barista school and coffee shop is set to open at Lincoln’s Sincil Street in early 2019.

200 Degrees, which specialises in artisan coffee, is set to open on Sincil Street opposite the Cornhill Quarter redevelopment in March 2019.

Currently, 200 Degrees has seven stores across the country, with two in Nottingham, and others in Birmingham, Leeds, Leicester, Cardiff and Sheffield.

It has four barista schools, with the first above its coffee shop in Nottingham, the second is in the Victorian hotel basement on Colmore Row in Birmingham and Leeds and Cardiff are home to its most recent schools.

200 Degrees runs a range of barista courses covering everything from home brewing methods, through to how to operate a professional espresso machine and advanced latte art.

Emma Woodcock, from 200 Degrees, posted: “We can now officially announce we’ll be opening the doors to store No.8 in March 2019 – Location – Lincoln!

“We’re really excited about this site, we’ll be located on Sincil Street and just opposite the amazing redevelopment of the Cornhill Quarter.
