New year, new recruit for Shooting Star

PR, marketing and digital specialist Shooting Star has taken on a new team member.

Sam Clarke has joined Shooting Star as Digital Marketer.

After working for various international and national clients as a self-employed video editor and producer Sam relocated to Lincolnshire in 2016 when he moved into marketing, working for businesses in the Lincoln area.

Sam is currently studying a Diploma in Professional Marketing with the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

He said: “Being part of a multi-disciplined marketing team means we all work together to build campaigns that fit the needs of our clients.

“Using a strategic and integrated approach towards communications rather than focusing on single tactical areas of marketing.”

Shooting Star was established in 2006 by directors Jez Ashberry and Kate Strawson.

It works for public, private and third-sector clients across a wide range of sectors including hospitality and tourism, property, health, local government and manufacturing.

Director Jez Ashberry said: “After 12 strong years in business our team is now the most experienced, capable and dynamic it’s ever been.

“Turnover last year also hit a record high and 2019 is set to be the biggest and best year we’ve ever had!”
