Selenity has teamed up with Lincoln College as part of a long-term strategy to grow local talent and help fill the skills gap within Greater Lincolnshire.

Digital skills are recognised as a significant skills gap in the county,  and Selenity has recently taken a strategic decision to shift its software development arm back to Lincoln from India.

Until recently the company was struggling to find a suitable training solution, but now the firm is focused on the long-term strategy of growing local talent with Lincoln College.

Selenity currently has two apprentices in the workplace and training at Lincoln College’s Risual Microsoft Academy.

The Academy offers training in digital marketing, software development and IT infrastructure in a state of the art Microsoft Showcase classroom, the only of its kind in the region.

Delivery is split between industry expert tutors at Lincoln College and digital specialists, Risual.

A spokesperson for Lincoln College said: “This is the perfect way to upskill current staff, or take on new recruits to ensure effective workforce planning and future-proof your business.
