An outline planning application has been submitted for 20 one and two bed apartments at the former Fanny Marshall Institute site in Gainsborough.
The proposal would make provision for up to 20 one and two bedroom apartments, close to the services offered by the town centre.
The apartment block at 49 Church Street would replace the previous building on site following demolition.
Plans of the building, submitted by Mahzar Azeem on behalf of Ocean United Ltd, comprise three or four floors.
It would be built on the Acland Street frontage behind the retained element of the Fanny Marshall building, which is currently the subject of a separate full application for conversion to six apartments by the same applicant.
The site was last in use some 20 years ago as a furniture and beds retailer.
Members of the planning committee at West Lindsey District Council will discuss proposals at a later date.
