Plans have been submitted for Phase 7 of Lincoln Enterprise Park.
Submitted by Nick Falkinder on behalf of LEP Developments Ltd, plans would see the expansion of Lincoln Enterprise at Thorpe Grange Farm, Newark Road.
If approved, the expansion would include 21 units, with a mix of B1 (a), B1 (c) and B8 units, across 1.03ha of grassland.
This would include:
- B1 (a) – Office space 450 square metres
- B1 (c) – Light industrial 1,575 square metres
- B8 – Storage or distribution 1,575 square metres
As part of the application, the expansion will also include 80 parking spaces and it is believed the new units will create 36 new jobs in the area.
A spokesperson said in the application: “Lincoln Enterprise Park is located on the southern side of the A46 between the Hykeham Roundabout and the exit of the A46 onto Old Haddington Lane.
“The application indicates units of similar size to those existing buildings which reflects the general demand experienced to date.
“The outline planning application for Phase 7 represents an anticipated developed footprint of 3,600 sq m including some mezzanine area, over an impermeable area of approximately 7,500 sq m across an overall site area of around 1.03ha.
“Phase 7 is estimated to add 172 daily vehicular trips meaning a total of 492 vehicular trips per day for the whole park.”
Members of the planning committee at North Kesteven District Council will discuss proposals at a later date.
