For one night only on Friday, April 19, one lucky group will be invited to dine alongside the moon at The Collection Museum in Lincoln.
One group of up to 10 people will be able to indulge in the exclusive opportunity to enjoy a 5 course bespoke dining experience inspired by the artwork and created by local Chef Darren Rogan.
From Saturday, March 2 to Sunday, April 29 2019, the Lincoln attraction will host Museum of the Moon, a touring piece of artwork by UK artist Luke Jerram, which features detailed NASA imagery of the lunar surface.
Darren Rogan said: “I enjoy pushing boundaries using modern techniques and unusual flavour combinations to create food that’s exciting and original.
“I specialise in bespoke private dining and offering my clients a bit of a different culinary experience.
“Using fresh, local, seasonal produce wherever possible is really important to me, as I believe it captures the time of year and enhances the flavour of the dish.”
“It’s an iconic and nationally renowned art instillation and to be asked to cook the food for it is an enormous privilege and honour.
“Food is the way I express myself as a chef and it’s thrilling to be placed in a setting with an artist who shares my creative ambition.”
Prices are available on request.
