Local entrepreneurs open first Pin Gin shop

The founders of Pin Gin have officially opened their first shop to sell their award-winning gin as part of big plans for the coming weeks.

‘the shop’ forms the first part of the company’s plans for its new distillery on Bolingbroke Road in Louth, selling its Pin Gin and Premium Pink.

In coming weeks, the shop, which is open Monday-Saturday from 10am – 3pm, will be joined by the tasting room and the gin school.

This will include packages ranging from a tour of the distillery, to a full gin school experience, where visitors can create and distill their own gin.

Amy Conyeard, Director at Bottomley Distillers told CityX: “We spent a long time having the distillery at home and were constantly being called by customers who wanted to come and buy a bottle direct from the distillery – Frequently people knocking on the door too!

“It seemed silly to not enable people to be able to do that once we were in our new distillery.

“The biggest investment in the new site has been the build of the second floor, which is housing the tasting room and the gin school.

“This space will be available for booking in the coming weeks and we will keep you posted as soon as it is ready!

“We will have packages ranging from a simple Tour + Tasting, all the way to a full gin school experience, where the Scholars will come in and create and distill their very own gin!”
