PRINCE2 and Cyber Security courses on offer at Lincoln College

Following local demand for short courses for businesses, Lincoln College has reacted to the need and now offers a range of courses that are specifically designed to meet the needs of local employers.

The first two courses available are a PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner course and a Cyber Security Awareness workshop.

PRINCE2 is a globally recognised process-based approach for project management, providing an easily tailored and scalable method for the management of all types of projects.

The PRINCE2 principles that will be covered include:

  • Continued business justification
  • Learn from experience
  • Defined roles and responsibilities
  • Manage by stages
  • Manage by exception
  • Focus on products
  • Tailor to suit the project environment

The PRINCE2 course will run from June 24-28 with candidates taking both the foundation and practitioner exams during the course.  The course fees are £799 and you can register your interest here.

Cyber Security Awareness workshop

Cyber security is becoming a hot topic with online fraud costing businesses over £1 billion in 2018.  Lincoln College will provide a comprehensive practical two-day workshop that will introduce you to the main cyber threats facing businesses locally, nationally and globally.

Giving hands-on experience on computer viruses, password protection techniques, phishing avoidance, email problems and avoidance of the most common network and internet attacks.

The workshop will take place in the College’s Microsoft Showcase Classroom using Surface Pro tablets on May 28-29 and costs £449 per attendee.  You can book online here.
