42ND EAST Bakehouse will officially open in the Lincoln Central Market kitchen on Friday, July 5, selling a range of sweet and savoury treats.

The shop will also serve street food on the go, from birthday batter croissants and buttermilk pancakes for breakfast, to burgers, pulled pork, brisket and Jack Daniels ribs for lunch.

There will also be a range of shakes, homemade lemonade, coffee and fruit juices.

Owner, Lee Edwards previously told CityX: “We started out as an online bakehouse that distributes its products worldwide.

“In Lincoln we will also be adding 42nd East Kitchen which will serve New York style street food on the go.

“We serve a range of grab and go sweet treats from our brownie slabs, gooey cookies to deep fried oreos and birthday cake.

“For breakfast and brunch there will be granola pots, birthday batter croissants and buttermilk pancakes stacks, along with other items.

“For lunch we will serve a range of burgers (from you standard cheese burger to a more adventurous Nutella burger) to pulled pork, brisket and Jack Daniels ribs.

“We’ve chosen Lincoln as with the redevelopment of the area it seems the right time to come and get involved in the area.

“We also cater for all occasions and corporate events. All our products will be made on site fresh for our customers to see.”
