Winners crowned at the 2019 Lincolnshire Technology & Innovation Awards
The fifth Lincolnshire Technology and Innovation Awards 2019, organised by CityX, celebrated the county’s most innovative and creative digital technology companies.
More than 250 business representatives attended the awards held at The Epic Centre, Lincolnshire Showground on Thursday, June 13, in anticipation of winning an accolade for their digital achievements.
The evening was sponsored by University of Lincoln Research & Enterprise, Streets Chartered Accountants, Streets Heaver Healthcare Computing, Cooke & Mason, Peachy Events and Lincoln College Group,
BBC Radio Lincolnshire’s Melvyn Prior presented the evening, revealing there had been over 140 entries across the 17 categories, with 93 finalists from 60 different businesses making the shortlist for the awards.
For the first time, a judging panel, made up of business leaders and experts from outside the county, gave their verdict on the record number of applications.
Megan Bates, Events and Marketing Manager at CityX and organiser of the awards said: “Last night was truly a testament to the phenomeninally talented people and businesses we have here in Lincolnshire.
