Doughnotts is set to open its doors as the most recent addition to The Cornhill Quarter.
The handmade doughnuts already have stores in the city centres of Nottingham, Leicester and Derby, and Lincoln will mark the opening of its fourth store in the five years since it was founded.
The doughnuts come with an array of choice and toppings, including a vegan option which is becoming an ever more popular choice.
Doughnotts, which has been hosting a pop-up stand at Lincoln Central Market, will open in the unit next to Lush on the Cornhill by early autumn.
énergie Fitness has also recently been signed for the scheme, bringing a diverse offer to the frequenters of the city centre.
With over a hundred franchises across the UK, Ireland and Europe, énergie offers an unrivalled fitness experience for everyone, whether you are a complete beginner, a gym pro, or somewhere in-between. énergie is known for delivering consistently excellent service at unbelievable value. énergie Fitness will be located above Lakeland on Sincil Street and will be open by the end of Summer.
Ursula Lidbetter, Lincolnshire Co-op’s Chief Executive, commented: “It is great to see our vision coming together with a quality mix of brands, offering something for everyone.
“Doughnotts will provide some tasty treats adding something unique to Lincoln’s already vibrant food offer. We are having positive discussions with other great quality brands and look forward to sharing news on these as we move forward.”
Wade Smith and Megan Scadden, founders of Doughnotts said: “The response from Lincoln has been the best we have ever had. Our markets do well and we love the people of Lincoln.
“Lincoln was a no brainer for us as we know they love an independent, family run business, that makes the best D’s.”
