Plans for the first phase of a 300 home development in Market Rasen have been approved by West Lindsey District Council.
Proposals, submitted by Rebecca Archer on behalf of Chestnut Homes Limited, will see 101 homes built as part of the first phase of the development on land on the east side of Caistor Road.
Outline planning for the residential development of up to 300 dwellings, including areas of landscaping and public open space was approved in December 2017.
Now, plans to erect 101 homes as part of the first phase of the Chestnut Homes Chantrey Park development have been approved.
Of the 101 homes, this will include:
- 8 one-bed homes
- 22 two-bed homes
- 48 three-bed homes
- 22 four-bed homes
- 1 five-bed home
In the application, it states: “The layout makes provision for affordable housing at 20% which equates to 20 dwellings, comprising of a mixture of 1, 2 and 3 bed houses, providing a mixture of rented and shared ownership tenures.
“The proposed dwellings [will be] traditional in style, to reflect the attractive but simple form of housing which is synonymous with Lincolnshire villages and towns, Market Rasen in particular.”
At the time of writing, it is unknown when work will begin on site.
