Lincoln’s Markham House set to be replaced with new houses

This story is over

Plans have been submitted for the demolition of Markham House in Lincoln – with new homes to be built on the site.

Submitted by Helen Ritchie on behalf of the City of Lincoln Council, plans would see the demolition of Markham House at 73-75 Swift Gardens.

In its place would be five three-bedroom dwellings.

Alongside this, five parking spaces would also be created.

Previously, the site was used as a Community Service Building, however the site is now vacant.

Members of the planning committee at the City of Lincoln Council will discuss proposals at a later date.
