Wren Kitchens has announced it is launching an IT Academy with the hope of attracting nearly 50 new employees to support the expansion of its in-house IT function.
Based at Barton-upon-Humber, Wren, has launched the 12-week initiative, which is aimed at talented graduates with IT degrees or motivated individuals looking to diversify into the industry.
The role will support a whole host of ground-breaking projects from state-of-the-art virtual reality, to the industry leading CAD based planner system and mobile applications.
Wren Kitchens IT Director, Craig Douglas said: “Our IT Developers are at the heart of the business and we recognise that their innovative skills are critical to our continued success.
“Investing in the future of our employees through development and training is something we have always done here at Wren, so this new initiative will further strengthen our focus on new talent.
“It’s the most exciting time in Wren’s history for people to join the team, as we continue to expand at a fast pace, with the increased need for the most advanced technology to continually support our employees and customers.”
There are over 1,600 people based at Wren’s headquarters working in various roles including customer services, marketing, manufacturing, HR, finance and property.
