Plans for a new Wildlife Park in Horncastle have been approved by East Lindsey District Council.

Submitted by Andrew Riddel and his partner Tracy Walters, the designs will create a new home for more than 200 animals on two plots of land either side of Hemingby Lane.

The couple originally applied for retrospective planning permission for enclosures they had built, however submitted updated plans with a three-year vision.

Wolds Wildlife Park, off Louth Road will now feature a series of 20 enclosures and shelters for the animals in their care.

The park will also include an education centre, reception building, a gift shop and cafe.
