This week’s LincolnX Featured member is Tick HR Solutions, a business based in Sleaford, which is celebrating its first birthday this month.
Working with businesses of all shapes, sizes and industries, Tick HR Solutions can help with all aspects of HR, from employer branding, recruitment, compliance, contracts and policy documentation, people management and eventually employee exit. TUPE transfers and redundancies unfortunately are also part of the of the business landscape these days, which can be quite daunting with so many potential pitfalls.
Over the last 20 years, owner Jacqui has a gained a vast amount of experience in business and HR, which stands Tick HR in good stead for providing affordable HR solutions to those organisations who don’t have their own HR function or who just need an extra pair of hands.
Having previously worked as a HR Director and executive board member for a global tech company, Jacqui literally had no network locally that could help out, no-one who could put a ‘good word’ in for the services and support she provides, so Jacqui has grown Tick HR from a standing start.
Jacqui continued: “HR is something that should be available to all companies and organisations that employ people. I am so passionate about good and positive HR initiatives and have witnessed that when organisations get this right, there are fewer of the negative issues of employing people to deal with.”
Jacqui provides a personalised service to her clients which can be delivered on an ad hoc basis, a one-off project or a retained service, on or off-site, giving businesses piece of mind that they’ve got it covered and the ongoing support they need.
“I am so excited about the future and what it holds for Tick HR, there’s so much discussion around the future of work, ‘Industry 4.0’ and it seems that HR professionals are really going to have their work cut out with the changing ‘make up’ of our workforce. Tick HR is certainly ready to deal with the different challenges this brings.”
While Tick HR is focussing it’s efforts in and around Lincolnshire, it is proud to have clients in various different parts of the UK, including London and Cumbria!
One thing in particular that has stood out for Jacqui on the journey so far is the amount of outstanding and amazing businesses in the Lincolnshire area and she is really looking forward to learning more about these businesses and helping them with their growth plans.
