PR, marketing and digital agency Shooting Star has secured a contract with Rollalong, the largest permanent offsite construction company in the south of England.
Based in Dorset, Rollalong has been designing and constructing bespoke modular buildings for defence, education and residential clients from its purpose-built factory for more than 50 years.
Following the recent completion of the £1.1 billion Ministry of Defence Army Basing Programme across Salisbury Plain in partnership with Aspire Defence Capital Works, Rollalong is currently working with Magna Housing to manufacture its next wave of 600 new affordable homes for people to rent and buy.
Steve Chivers, Managing Director at Rollalong, said: “Over the last few years we’ve been securing some of the largest offsite building contracts in our history.
“I’m so proud of our team, from the designers working hard to come up with bespoke solutions for our clients to the team manufacturing the modules on the factory floor. Our priorities will continue to be to deliver these projects to the highest quality and efficiency, while also ensuring we meet our clients’ budget expectations and timeframes.
“We’re hoping that by working with Shooting Star we’ll be able to share more news about our incredible work with a wider audience. We can’t wait to get started!”
Rollalong will benefit from the wide-ranging experience and skills of the Shooting Star team in PR, marketing and digital.
Alex Bavin, Business Development Manager at Shooting Star, said: “I’m delighted that we have secured this contract with Rollalong.
“Having worked in the property and construction sector myself for many years it’s great to be able to support the leading permanent offsite construction company in the south as they showcase decades of precision engineering experience in residential and commercial manufacturing.
“We have already had the opportunity to see some of the projects the team at Rollalong have delivered and were amazed at the level of quality and attention to detail. I’m excited to see our relationship develop with them as they continue to evolve over the next few years.”
