Lincoln Debenhams safe as retailer announces closures across UK

This story is over

Lincoln’s Debenhams store has been earmarked as safe following the announcement that a further 19 shops across the UK would close this month.

The national retailer has revealed the locations of the 19 stores which are due to shut in the UK this month – starting January 11.

The closures, which will see around 660 people made redundant, comes as the department store chain, which entered administration in April 2019 and officially launched its CVA later that month, faced speculations that it could shut down 20 stores after Christmas.
