Ambitions Personnel, the Lincoln based recruitment agency celebrating 30 years in business this year; welcomed newly re-elected Lincoln MP, Karl McCartney to their offices to discuss the future of recruitment in the city.

On the agenda were several topics, ranging from legislation, Brexit, and the future for recruitment in Lincolnshire.  As well an area that many businesses have expressed a concern around, that is the retention of local graduates from university to boost the local economy and workforce.

Mandy said: “It was a pleasure to host Karl at our offices and have a discussion about the potential that Lincoln has as a city. We’ve been here since 1990, and we’re proud of being part of the growing business community here. It’s very important to be able to work with people like Karl in shaping what the future looks like for businesses and especially young people in Lincolnshire.”

Mr McCartney stated: “It is vitally important that Lincoln begins to hold on to more highly sought-after graduates who come through our fantastic universities and colleges. I’m very much looking forward to seeing this city grow, and I’m sure Ambitions Personnel will be a crucial part of that.”

“I’m looking forward to meeting with other businesses across Lincoln, as it’s important to understand how employers are seeking to grow and attract new talent.”

Mr McCartney also recorded a podcast episode with Mandy for his podcast, available here, that discussed topics surrounding recruitment in Lincoln.
