LincolnX Featured takes a look at our LincolnX members, profiling their firm and highlighting key developments within their business.
Studio Optic is a full-service creative agency, specialising in branding, design and film production.
Originally established as a dedicated design studio, their team noticed a demand from clients for full-service campaigns that involve a wider range of media. This has since led to an evolution of services that combine to achieve a greater range of output, consistency in high quality and a simplified process for their clients.
Studio Optic was founded in 2016 by Stewart Linton, a University of Lincoln alumni and now Associate Lecturer at the University.
Stewart previously worked as a Designer & Art Director for some of the UK’s leading advertising agencies, winning a coveted D&AD Award whilst producing brands and campaigns for the likes of Jack Daniels, Cadburys, VW and Thorntons among many others before moving back to the region.
He said: “We’re a fully independent and self-funded studio, aiming to build a reputation that represents quality in our work and simplicity in our process. Having worked in the madness that is the London ad world, where nothing but the best in creative marketing is recognised, we continue to deliver this same high standard of work to clients that share our values, both locally and nationally.
“You may have seen some of our recent work, having produced a suite of cinematic brand films for Lincolnshire-based Pin Gin. We’ve got some really exciting projects launching in 2020, including a recent group rebrand and brand film for fellow CityX members Gusto Homes.
Leading on from this, we’re working with a number of innovative companies within the green energy industry and we’re delighted to continue our work within the food and drinks sector, having recently been contracted to produce a series of projects for Woodforde’s Brewery.”
