Lincoln Cathedral has launched an urgent recovery appeal in hopes of raising £1.5 million after Covid-19 disruptions.
The recovery appeal, ‘Provide Protect, Preserve‘ has been launched and aims to help secure the cathedral’s future as a place of worship and visitor attraction.
From April 1 to July 31, the cathedral lost £768,972 from visitor admissions, events, donations and commercial activity in the shop and Refectory cafe.
People can support the appeal in different ways, including a one-off donation, direct debit (a six-month pledge), ongoing direct debit or by pledging a legacy gift in your will.
